1 I want to tell you about a potluck lunch. If it is informal occasion so people dress casually. When we invite many people over, for a family gathering for example, we have a potluck lunch. People bring different dishes, they are given a choice: a starter, main course, or dessert. It is always a surprise what people will bring. A host should supply the drinks and some slices of cheese. Guests can bring gifts. One more our tradition is having barbecue in the and of summer. We cook sausages to feed guests. There is no set time for the party to finish.
2 Express or suppress feelings? Some people thinks that in some situation it's better to overcome emotions and not to express them. But some people think when you express emotions, you get rid of them. Do you often feel lonely? Yes, when it's raining and I am alone. But sometimes I like loneliness. During last elections I was anxious about the candidate I was voting for. He faild. I was confused. I think elections weren't fair. My friends say that I am curious and suspictious. They offend me with these word.
