Emile-Maurice had four daughters and three sons-in-law with whom he would continue to expend the house's. These included Robert Dumas, Jean-Rene Guerrand and Francis Puech. In 1951, Robert Dumas would go on to succeed his father-in-law and continue to diversify the house. In the same year Rober Dumas and Jean-Rene Guerrand expand the Madison's horizons by developing Hermes' very first fragrance, Eau D'Hermes. In parallel to this first step Rober Dumas establishes stores in Europe, Japan and the USA. This very focal point in time also saw the introduction key imprints of the house: The duck Attele (carriage logo), the orange box packaged by a ribbon and the window displays of the 24 Faubourg store. |
