There are also moons or satellites that rotate around the planets. The planets spin around the Sun. This movement is called revolution, thanks to that the length of day and night changes and there are different seasons.

Each planet makes two movements at different speeds and distances around the Sun. Because of this a day lasts 24 hours on Earth and 243 earthly days on Venus.
